Mobile Application Privacy Policy

Article 1 (Definitions)

This Mobile Application Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Privacy Policy”) stipulates the handling of user information in the Confit smartphone application (hereinafter referred to as the “Application”) provided by Atlas Co., Ltd., (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) and for all services (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”) related to the Application. Please refer to Article 9 for the Company’s contact information.

Article 2 (Information that will be acquired, purposes of use, and method of acquisition)

When using the Application and the Services, the user information shown below will be automatically acquired through the Application for the purposes of use listed below.

Article 3 (Agreement on the acquisition, compilation, and use of user information)

Please use the Application and the Services after confirming and understanding the provisions of the Privacy Policy. The user is asked to confirm the Privacy Policy before using the Application.

Article 4-1 (External transmission)

The information acquired on the basis of Article 2 will be transferred to a server installed by the Company and used within the scope of the purposes of use.

Article 4-2 (Information collection modules)

For the purpose of improving the Application and the Services, the Company may use the information collection modules below that are incorporated into the Application to acquire, compile, and transfer the user information stated below, and the Company may provide that information to third parties within the scope necessary to accomplish the purposes of use.

Article 5 (Method of user involvement)

For information on handling, including the stopping of the acquisition of your information for the purpose of analysis of the state of the application use and the investigation and elimination of bugs, please confirm the individual company’s privacy policy as stated in Article 4.

Article 6 (Service termination and handling of information)

For the Application and the Services, it is possible to cancel the Services by deleting (uninstalling) the Application. Even if you delete (uninstall) the Application, the Company will not be obligated to delete your device information or error information that the Company has already received.

Article 7 (Links to personal information protection policies [privacy policies])

Please check the links shown below for the latest versions of the Company’s Personal Information Protection Policy (privacy policy) and Privacy Policy. In the event of any discrepancy between the Personal Information Protection Policy (privacy policy) and the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy shall be given precedence, and if there is a matter that is not stipulated in the Privacy Policy, the Personal Information Protection Policy (privacy policy) shall govern.

Article 8 (Disclosure and provision of information)

The Company will not disclose nor provide information that is acquired from you and saved through the Application or the Services to parties other than the third parties clearly indicated in the Privacy Policy without your express consent. Provided, however, that the cases below are excluded.

  1. Cases based on laws and regulations.
  2. Cases in which disclosure or provision is necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain your consent
  3. Cases in which it is necessary to cooperate with a national organization, a local government, or a party that has received consignment by a national organization or a local government in order to execute an order based on the stipulations of a law or regulation, and there is a possibility that obtaining your consent will hinder the execution of that order
  4. Other cases in which the Company has judged that disclosure or provision of information is necessary based on conventional practices and in which it is difficult to obtain your consent

Article 10 (Changes)

The Privacy Policy may be revised.

  1. When, in association with the upgrading of the version of the Application, there is a change or addition to the user information that has been acquired, a change in the purposes of use, or a change in the provision of information to third parties, the Company will issue a notification before installation or at the time of starting the Application, and for important changes, we will obtain your consent again before installation or at the time of installation.
